The Needham Reservoir is being stocked with trout. On Saturday, May 18th, kids and families are invited to fish. The reservoir holds sunfish/blue gill, bass, horn pout (or it used to) and other species in addition to the trout being stocked. This isn't just fly fishing, you will see mostly spin casting rods and a few Zebco's. It's a great opportunity to give back and help spawn the next generation for fishermen.
Volunteers are needed to help bait hooks, take fish off hooks and return fish to the water as well as provide instruction on casting, retrieve, knot tying, knot removal..... etc.
