The Needham Sportsman's Club, NSC, is offering a free introduction to fly fishing class.
Fly fishing is a fun and rewarding method of fishing and a relaxing way to enjoy the great outdoors.

The class is for people who have little or no fly fishing experience. Participants must be aged 16 or over (or 12 and older accompanied by a parent or other adult).
This class will introduce you to the essential skills you need to get started in this sport. It covers the fundamentals of fly fishing tackly, fly casting, fishing techniques and fly selection. The goal of the class is for the students to be able to cast a fly and catch a fish.
The class will be held at the NSC trout pond at 1346 Great Plain Ave, Needham. The class is NOT exclusive to residents of Needham, all are welcome.
Owning fly fishing equipment is not required; equipment will be available to participants who need it for the class. Participants are welcome to bring their own fly rods.
The class is composed of two sessions of two hours each. Session 1 is on Saturday 27th April and Session 2 is on Saturday 4th May. Both sessions start at 9:00 AM.
