Next Fly-Tying Night

6:00 pm - Tuesday 10th September 2024

Members meet at the clubhouse on the first Tuesday of the month, September through April, to grab a slice of pizza and tie a few flies.  All members are welcome, no fly tying experience is needed.  Some loaner tying equipment is available for use at the club.

Every month one or two of the more experienced fly-tying members take the lead in choosing which patterns to tie and materials are shared as new techniques are learned.

The (Controversial) Mop Fly

Some say it's not a fly.  Some say it is.  Nonetheless in recent years it has become controversial and it certainly catches fish in a newly stocked pond.
